OK, is this another rumor? Couple of years ago we all heard this rumor about Michael Jackson converting into Islam. It seemed as a pretty solid rumor at that time. I even got a copy of an Islamic song sung by him. Yeah.. it was him alright. I couldn’t share this piece as it was direct from our local media and I didn’t wanna get screwed over copyright issues.

Anyways, The Sun has more news on this:

“The singer wore traditional Islamic dress as he pledged his allegiance to the Koran at a friend’s home in Los Angeles, The Sun reports.

Jackson, who was raised a Jehovah’s Witness, reportedly decided to convert after discussing religion with a music producer and songwriter on his new album - both of whom were converts to Islam.

Yousef Islam - formerly knowns as Cat Stevens - turned up to help Jackson celebrate.”

I hope it’s not a rumor this time and I wish MJ all the best in embracing the religion. Read all about it here.

I’ve been experiencing high speeds for my uploads of beyond 70Kbytes/sec on my MaxOnline Express plan. This has been going on for over 3 weeks now. At that time, there was no news online about a speed upgrade. I was thinking this could be a mistake from StarHub, since I continued to use my old modem despite given a new one from a new contract.

Well earlier, my friend Joe hinted me by sending me a “768″ on MSN. Starhub has official news on this and it’s a pleasant surprise. Express users got their upload speeds from 256 to 768Kbps, Premium from 384K to 1.2Mbps and Ultimate from 2 to 10Mbps. Now I can achieve my torrent download/upload ratios faster :D

As far as I can remember, this is the first time McDonalds here came out with this huge mutha******. I decided to have this 4-patty burger for dinner today.

If ya think ya wanna have a new taste or something, go somewhere else. This is still the same big mac with more beef patties and a larger box. Quarter-pounder lovers will wanna go for this!

I had to open my jaw more than when eating a standard BK whopper. I could say it’s about the same height as the double whopper. Most of the time, the beef taste over-powered the rest of the burger. Meat lovers who wanna eat beef blindly, do go for this! Oh yea.. it did get messy :P

Here I go again.. I’ve been watching some Bollywood movies in the past and I came across this actress which has many similar characteristics of Hollywood sweetie, Jessica Alba.

This lady here (on the right) is actress Hrishtaa Bhatt. Most of her roles are minor and she’s got a relatively small list of movies under her belt. Trust me, the picture doesn’t tell much, compared to the movies itself. What’s more.. they’re born 12 days apart

As the title suggests, most of the action happens in Africa. The story starts from before Alex the lion ends up in the Zoo. After which it cuts into where Madagascar 1 left off. The animals accidentally fall into Africa where Alex reunites with his dad and the other animals meet others of their own kind.

Overall, I would recommend this movie to anyone who wants a good laugh. It’s better than part 1, has more content, jokes and action. I would also say the animation seemed more complex with more colorful scenes. I was laughing all the way. This movie was also made in tribute to Bernie Mac, who died in August. He was the voice of Zuba (Lion Alex’s dad). Read more about this movie on Wiki. Official site here.
